At North Mead Primary Academy, we offer a curriculum which is broad, balanced and builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills of all learners, whatever their starting points as they progress through each Key Stage. The curriculum incorporates the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum and other experiences and opportunities which best meet the learning and developmental needs of the learners in our academy. Our Creative Book Based approach enables children to make links between their learning and build effectively on prior knowledge. The aim of our curriculum is for children to have the requisite skills and acquire the knowledge from agreed concepts to be successful, independent and motivated learners in readiness for the next stage of their education.
