North Mead Primary Academy is part of The Mead Educational Trust. 

 

As an academy, North Mead operates under a Supplemental Funding Agreement with the Secretary of State for Education. This agreement sits alongside the Trust’s Master Funding Agreement and sets out the legal arrangements under which North Mead operates as an academy.  

 

The agreement covers matters including: 

  • the establishment and operation of North Mead Primary Academy  
  • the relationship between the Academy Trust and the Secretary of State  
  • funding arrangements  
  • requirements placed on the academy  
  • governance and accountability arrangements  
  • circumstances in which the agreement may be varied or terminated
